HOME Conquering Fear...8 Legs at a Time
ABOUT Education needs an overhaul. We can help.
Solpugid Productions is an educational consulting company that promotes the sciences. We focus on underprivileged populations and developing countries.
SP is a partnership between two entomologists (bugdorks). Our backgrounds are varied: theater, dance, art, photography, videography and of course science. It is this unique mix that helps us to create curriculum that is engaging and fun. We combine science education, research and cutting edge media to shake things up.
We also use insects and spiders as a vehicle to address common fears that young people struggle with: career choices, self-esteem, educational potential, prejudice and racism.
We offer in-class workshops in English, Spanish and Swahili. We are available for partnerships with non-profits for curriculum development and media projects.
